To lead in this manner starts with the curiosity of self and others and is followed by deep listening. Positive leadership, to me, is demonstrating compassion and integrity with consistency.

Bio
Syama Bunten is the Co-CEO of Sona Technologies and heads up Green Sands Women, which co-invests along global venture capital firms such as General Catalyst and Andreessen Horowitz. She has been at the forefront of retail most of her career, Barneys New York, Gucci, and later launching Scaling Retail. At Scaling Retail, she launched brands globally and worked with a number of government economic development groups, as well as the United Nations. Syama has won a number of awards, including 2017 WWD Top Women in Retail, and 2022 Thought Leader of The Year. Her thought leadership can be seen on stages and in media like Forbes, Inc., NPR, and the Financial Times.
